The Rock Just Set A Selfie Record That No Kardashian Can Touch

Kim Kardashian may have written the book on selfies, but The Rock's got her beat when it comes to the Guinness World Records. During the May 21 London premiere of his new disaster film, San Andreas, the action star and muscleman otherwise known as Dwayne Johnson managed to set the world record for the most selfies taken in three minutes. For those wondering, the new number to beat is a staggering 105 snaps. We know Johnson's got guns for days, but his point-and-shoot thumb must be killing right now. Stick that sucker on ice. "Guinness World Records adjudicator Mark McKinley ensured that selfie rules were followed, with requirements including the full face and neck of participants being viewable and that the images were focused, with recognizable faces and no blurring," Guinness World Records notes in a press release. "Several selfies were disqualified, but a total of 105 were accepted to achieve the record title." Nobody said breaking records was easy. For his efforts, Johnson was presented with a certificate marking his achievement. He then did what anyone in his situation would do: took a selfie.
