Canadian electro-pop threesome Dragonette makes the sort of pulsating synth tunes you'd expect to hear on an especially gnarly night on the town. The band obviously realizes this, so its new video for "Run Run Run" sees lead singer Martina Sorbara lurching through NYC in chopped-up, reverse-chronological order, as we watch the bacchanalia unfold. The camera work reminds us of a 21st century version of the iconic bar scene in Scorsese's Mean Streets, with Sorbara taking the part of Harvey Keitel. Yet, as with most blurry parties, things aren't always what they seem, and by the clip's end, you'll be surprised by how our disheveled protagonist arrived at her current state.
