Rihanna might be a renegade in the music world, but it seems that concepts from her most recent S&M video had been jacked straight from a 19-year-old fashion photographer from Germany. Philip Paulus shot an editorial titled Paperworld last August, which features a model clad in a poofy red dress, clawing at the plastic sheet that tapes her to the wall. In her new video S&M, Rihanna is shown in a similar set-up. This isn't the first time Rihanna's been accused of plageurism for this video—earlier similarities between her plastic costumes and David LaChapelle's photography were revealed yesterday. Perhaps Rihanna should find a new art director who won't be so subtle with his/her references? Check out the S&M video as well as a behind-the-scenes film of Paperworld, after the break.
