Tell us about some of these cool knickknacks on and around your desk. Any funny or memorable stories behind them?
Megan: "We are quasi-hoarders. Cris has old shoe-making tools that always seem to make their way out during the design process. It's nice to have them around, because it feels like we're working with our hands versus the computer — where we do the most of our designing. We stole the PBR sign from my husband when we first started Freda Salvador. We took over his 'man cave' as our design studio, and it was hanging in there. It was the one item of his we didn't hide or store in the garage. When we were designing our new space, something was missing. The morning of our grand opening party I thought of the PBR sign! I asked him if we could borrow it for the party — he knows I'll never return it..."
