"Besides the Levi's I wore since I was a little kid, I got a pair of shrink-to-fit selvage Omnigods 15 years ago that changed my life."
What are you wearing?
"A new and improved eight-pocket version of same flatfront denim style I designed five years ago. I've been perfecting the fit and functionality of this pant for years... The only thing I'd rather wear is a pair of board shorts in the ocean."
How many pairs of jeans do you own?
"Hundreds."
Do you have a preferred philosophy when it comes to jeans: Sexy and skinny, or loose and comfy?
"Funnel-shaped."

"Both."

"Never wash."

"Richard Sera."

What do you love most about your favorite denim pieces?
"To clarify...I wear what I design, but I can't resist collecting denim and other related indigo pieces. I have piles of vintage workwear kimonos and Amish workwear filling my closet to the brim."
