Small-Comforts

Small Comforts Bakeshop
Thanks to Small Comforts Bakeshop, your weekend just got a whole lot sweeter. Found exclusively on Sundays at the Olney Farmers and Artists Market, this baking operation features seasonal pies that have nabbed Editor's Pick status from The Washington Post. Owners Karen Sippel and Binni Chadda get their ingredients exclusively from three local farms in Maryland, and this summer, they're keeping it classic with seasonal pie offerings like blueberry, cherry, and peach-raspberry. Six-inch pies are just $6 at the market, and nine-inch pies are available for special order, starting at $18.

How to get it: Visit Small Comforts Bakeshop at the Olney Farmers and Artists Market (Route 108 and Prince Phillip Drive, Olney; no phone) on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., now through November.
