Daily Diversion: Highly Addictive Color-Based Photo Search Engine
Go way beyond spinning the color wheel for a dose of hue-based inspiration with the addictive Multicolr Search Lab. A database of 10 million photos pulled from the "most interesting" pool on Flickr have been sampled for color and organized accordingly. Clicking one color on the palette summons a grid of photos in that hue. A secondary color reveals a new spread of photos with that color combination, and so on. Trash one color, add a different one! Electric, saturated, serene, delicious combinations are waiting to be utilized. Spring 2011 mood boards, anyone?
