Goth Carine? Cushnie Et Ochs Makes It Happen

    Witchcraft and Vogue editors don't usually go hand in hand — unless you're backstage at Cushnie et Ochs fall '13 show, that is. MAC lead artist Charlotte Tilbury took a little bit of goth and a whole lot of Carine Roitfeld, mixed vigorously, and came up with this simple statement look. She used a mix of plummy and earthy hues to create a smudged eye, pairing it with a moody purple pout, a filled-in brow, and luminescent skin.

    The designers looked to the Salem witch trials and early American settlers for inspiration, and Moroccanoil stylist Antonio Corral Calero created a half-up 'do to complement their inspiration. This pilgrim pompadour featured very straight strands, flattened sides, and pumped-up volume with a squared-off shape on top. Black magic, indeed.
