9 Of The Coolest Dads In Washington Tell Us Why They Dig Fatherhood

Harry Dixon, DJ
"When my daughter was born, being a father meant protecting the tiny person that I had a part in creating, and guiding her as she grew.
In Cedar's 16 months on this planet, fatherhood has also come to mean many other things — an endless supply of energy, overcoming the need for sleep, a fear of corners and sharp objects, the ability to decipher and speak gibberish, the loss of my beloved curse words, mastering the art of stain removal, being able to fit a day's work into her nap time, and a high tolerance for really annoying children's music, to name a few. And, of course, knowing that I'm the luckiest man in the world every time I look at my beautiful daughter."
