What do you do? I'm the Creative Director of Avant 16
What are you wearing today? Dior Homme jeans and a Balenciaga shirt. This shirt is great because it has a hybrid sailor/rugby appeal. I am into mixing black, navy, and gray. The boots were initially a basic black Chelsea boot, but the leather began to crack, so I just went with it and kicked them around to add to the appeal. The coat is vintage from when I was living in Tokyo.
What were you doing in Tokyo? I lived there for a year doing art direction and freelancing for BIG magazine.
Do you have a style icon? Yves Saint Laurent and the art director, Peter Saville.
Favorite artists? Barnett Newman, also Nigel Cooke is great.
Favorite item in your closet? Bespoke suit from Japan. The suit was a collaborative piece that was also featured in Japanese Esquire.
Anything you're wanting? A standout but functional bag with chrome hardware.
