Wearing heels is hard enough, but throw in a giant commute, the pressure of Fashion Week, and 2-30 inches of snow? Well...even a seasoned stiletto veteran would have chickened out for a pair of Duck Boots. Last time, senior global editor and perpetual flats-fan Connie Wang got schooled in the art of heel walking by Andre J., and now, she's decided to bring her new skills to Fashion Week.
As luck would have it, our shoot date coincided with the beginning of superstorm Nemo, but we still ventured out anyway in a beautiful pair of Jen Brill and Olivia Kim for Cole Haan boots to show you how "effortless" Fashion Week street style actually is. P.S. For anyone worried about the state of those red suede shoes in all that slush — fret not. With a million coats of protectant spray, the shoes didn't suffer even a single salt stain — now that's a victory!
