You’re Invited: 21 Pretty Pics From Vogue & Tod’s “American Beauty” Bash

American beauties were everywhere you looked at last week's Tod's and Vogue co-hosted party, appropriate enough given that the champagne was flowing to toast the book launch of Claiborne Swanson Frank's American Beauty. Held at the massive party space du jour, 583 Park Avenue, a former synagogue, the spate of gorgeous girls (including our own global editor Connie Wang) on hand were actually also subjects of photographer Frank's camera skills, as evidenced by all the cellphone snaps we saw of the beauts mugging with their portraits.
The hotness scale was averaging a "9,"—Claiborne's all-American women included a very pregnant Lily Aldridge (who literally defines the term "glowing"), R29-faves Solange Knowles and Elettra Wiedemann, an elaborately dressed Bettina Prentice, jewelry designer Lisa Salzer (with BF Marlon Taylor-Miles in tow — swoonage), Scene editor Peter Davis, the LSD, and a, yes, happy-looking Anna Wintour, Claib's former boss. To quote another movie title sans Kevin Spacey, the night was crazy beautiful. We can prove it—click through our selection of the most—you know what's coming— beauteous snaps.
