LA-Style burger at Lure
I'll be honest. When I am in Lure, I usually get a little tipsy. Something about that downstairs vibe and the wonderful people make me feel right at home. And, when I'm tipsy, I want some pretty raunchy food. Burgers, ribs, bacon, whatever. But Lure....Lure understands that I can have that delicious burger and not want to punch myself in the morning. Their L.A.-style bun-less burger is the tits. [Ed. note: Order it "Iceberg-style." It's available upon request!] The meat is super juicy and super flavorful and does not, I repeat, does not make me miss a regular burger. The lettuce they layer around it is so crispy and fresh that it actually ADDS to the burger, rather than just being a container of sorts. Plus, there is a freaking fried onion ring on top. Because we all need to be a little bit raunchy."
