Stop What You’re Doing: Choupette’s Getting A Makeup Line

Just because it was inevitable doesn't make it any less wonderful: Choupette, the furry feline companion of Karl Lagerfeld, has launched her modeling career. Specifically, she's going to be the (perfect, breathtakingly adorable) face of a Shu Uemura holiday makeup campaign. We'll wait a second while you read that sentence over.
Okay, everyone still breathing? Women's Wear Daily reports that the line is being billed as "the first tie-up between a beauty name and a house pet." Of course, calling Choupette a "house pet" fails to convey the true majesty of this creature, but we digress. WWD reports that the holiday collection will probably contain fluffy false lashes, which we expect to only actually appeal to a small percentage of the beauty-consumer market — but a percentage nonetheless.

Lagerfeld himself has already taken the photos for the campaign. Celebrities, they're just like us: They can't stop taking pictures of their pets. To that end, while we anxiously wait for this collection to come out, I have a question. What do I have to do to get my tiny, fluffy white dog a makeup line? She's very photogenic and has a pink nose that I've always thought would make a great lipstick shade. If you're reading this, Shu Uemura, I really think a Kimberly collection is very on brand for you. Call me.
Stay tuned while we wait for more details, and, in the meantime, let us know what your ideal Choupette collection would contain. (WWD)
