NewYearParade

Chinese New Year Parade
If you're able to make it out to Chinatown as early as Sunday, February 17, then you can catch the annual Lunar New Year parade (year of the snake, y'all!), which kicks off at 1 p.m. in the heart of the neighborhood (right near the Chinatown gate on the Wentworth strip). The festivities include marching bands, floats, Chinese lion teams, a mystical dragon, and more.
