How To Dress For Lollapalooza Without Looking Like A Hipster

Like a double-edged sword, there are no rules about music festival style; you can stay true to what you love without crossing over into the dark side, and, with our handy tips, we'll make sure you don't get tossed out of the front gate. When the workweek ends, the only dress-code you're worried about is the one you give yourself. And since we always want to make it possible for you lovely readers to put your best sartorial foot forward, we've got the perfect weekend outfit you can copy, stat! Our street-style photog Amy Creyer spotted this look in Chicago, and it was too good to keep to ourselves. We think this is a prime example of what to wear this weekend, whether you're brunching in Fulton Market or shopping in Bucktown; a slim pant matched with a cool spring jacket and a small bag in a seasonally bright color are just what your day off has been hankering for.
