We didn't want you to go an entire day without having a cool video to email around to all of your friends. Enter the below, which features Chicago band Maps & Atlases covering No Doubt's "Spiderwebs," — and totally killing it. We're sorry if this sets you off on a '90s tangent for the next 12 hours or so, but we couldn't help sharing. We're huge Maps & Atlases fans, and like, its Gwen, so obviously we're obsessed. If you want to see more from M&A, don't miss their show this Friday at The Metro. Are you compulsively watching any other '90s covers these days? Do share. (Rocksound)

DJ Matt Roan Just Released A New Mix, AKA Your Summer Soundtrack

bright nites If the weather won't heat up, at least our tunes can. Matt Roan is the local DJ you'll find commanding the dance floor anywhere from Bevy to Studio Paris (and many, many more). But sometimes he gets to step outside the booth and create mixes all his own, and those of us who don't do so much of the nightclub thing appreciate it. Below is a link to Bright Nites, Volume 4, and Matt was kind enough to give us his thoughts on why it's the soundtrack to summer. "The Bright Nites series is a chance for me step outside the bottle service club world for a bit and play some of the tunes that I'm loving at the moment. There are a few 'bangers' in there, but for the most part its pure indie/disco heat. Great way to get things warmed up for summertime Chi!"

Does this affect whether or not you'll attend the fest? Are you a die-hard Lolla fan who will be there no matter what, or are you on the fence, now that you know? For us, we've seen enough to know we won't miss this year's rumble in Grant Park. And yes, that mean you can rest assured that we'll be bringing our street-style snapping cameras with us. But at long last, we can finally stop wondering, and start getting excited. The hard part, now? Waiting for August. (Lollapalooza)

Hot Ticket: Score Black Keys Tickets While You Still Can

r29-black-keys-chicago

If you're still mourning the fact that you missed out on those oh-so-elusive Coachella passes, you have the chance to redeem yourself at Monday night's Black Keys concert. The garage-rock duo will be taking their first-ever headlining arena tour to our fair city to wow us with hits from their newest album, El Camino. The Grammy Award-winners will be joined by Brit band Arctic Monkeys, who have the daunting-yet-exhilarating task of warming up the crowds on the 37-date North American tour.

In addition to being way more wallet-friendly than most of the stops (ahem, NYC), Monday's show is produced in partnership with Tickets-For-Charity, meaning you get to give back while jamming out. Ticket proceeds will benefit Community Support Services in the Keys' hometown of Akron, OH, as well as the W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville. If demand for this show is anything like their previous stops, you best get buyin'! Hipster glasses not required.

When: Monday, March 22, 7:30 p.m.
Where: United Center, 1901 West Madison Street (at Damen Avenue); 312-455-4200.
Price: $39-54; click here to purchase

Pitchfork Music Fest Tix Go On Sale In 15 Minutes: Prices Did NOT Go Up!

st vincent
Photographed by Shani Silver

Set an alarm. No, you know what, set two. Tickets to 2012's Pitchfork Music Festival go on sale at noon CST and you better move fast. Last year, three-day passes sold out in less than 24 hours! The good news about this music fest ticket frenzy is that (shockingly) prices for this year's Pitchfork fest did not go up. That's right. You can still get 1-day passes for $45, and 3-day passes for $110. With bands like Vampire Weekend, Feist, Hot Chip, Grimes, Cloud Nothing (and sooo many more TBD) on the lineup, this is a steal, but only if you get the tix! You'll find them here, on Pitchfork's website. We've done what we can. Now it's up to you. Go forth and add to cart!

Would You Pay $1,799 To See Fiona Apple?

First it's hoarders swiping all the Jason Wu for Target. Now it's e-snipers scooping up concert tickets before legit fans have a chance. Fiona Apple die-hards were devastated on Friday when Lincoln Hall's online servers crashed in response to an overwhelming (but come on guys, kinda expected) demand for tickets to Fiona Apple's March 19 show. Apparently scalpers are already having an eBay and Craigslist field day, with four packs of tickets reportedly selling for $1,799. We love and miss her too, but seriously? Would you pay this kind of cash to see a beloved favorite, or is this just (forgive us) criminal? (AV Club)

The Best $8 You'll Spend This Weekend: White Mystery At Empty Bottle

WM main How’s this for money well spent? For just $8 this weekend, you can score tickets to one of Chicago’s hottest shows and get a nice buzz going, too. Details, you say? White Mystery– the self-proclaimed “ferocious rock duo” consisting of Chicago siblings Alex and Francis Scott Key White–is kicking off their tour this weekend at the Empty Bottle, and tickets to the show are just $3. (Not a bad deal to see a band The Chicago Tribune has called the city’s “next big breakout act.”) If you’ve ever been to the Empty Bottle then you probably already know where that other $5 is going. If not: The bar does an awesome “beer-and-a-shot” combo for just five bucks. Know before you go: The Empty Bottle is cash only, so make a quick withdrawal on your way home from work and avoid those gross ATM fees.
The Empty Bottle, (at West Cortez Street) 1035 North Western Avenue; 773-276-3600.

Don't Miss Indie Darlings Tennis At Lincoln Hall This Sunday

tennis main In light of Tennis' newly released album Young and Old, the indie rock band has taken to the road, with a stop in Chicago. We've spotted singer Alaina Moore out and about in Chicago before, and we're thrilled the band is headed back for a not-totally-huge show at Lincoln Hall. We love this modestly sized venue because every spot in the house is a good one, and you can sneak to the back for a drink without worrying you'll never make it to the front again. See how Tennis' breezy throwback pop has evolved in this second album, and enjoy the favorites that made you love this band last year, too. Get your tickets now before the rest of Chicago gets wise, and wrap your weekend up with some aural pleasure.

Zola Jesus At Lincoln Hall Isn't Sold Out...Yet

ZJ_credit_Angel_Ceballos_10 In support of her latest album Conatus, Zola Jesus returns to Chicago on February 21 to light up Lincoln Hall. Nika Danilova's voice, packed with dark, sultry emotion, is certain to shake the walls of this Lincoln Park venue, and we can't let our readers miss out on one of the most moving pop experiences a music lover can have. Get your tickets now, before the show sells out, and make sure you send this link to your go-to show buddy, too. Conatus is her best work yet—we can't wait to see what it's like in person.
