Shop It NowThe Ultimate Accessory For Any (Smart!) Chicago Jogger
We're always trying to go for runs, but "stuff" seems to get in the way—our iPod dies, our keys are bouncing around in our pocket, and we're just so out of breath. Now, a couple of local gals have created a product to solve that pesky key problem, and make those early morning runs so much smoother (unfortunately, being constantly exhausted is our own problem). Enter Gokey, a super handy bracelet that holds your house key and buckles in place securely. We'll be honest, it isn't the cutest accessory, but, hey, you're not going on runs to pick up dates, right? We think this is a definite must-have for anyone training for the Chicago Marathon. Gokey's creators are looking to expand the business into a whole line of bracelets, and they've taken to Kickstarter for funding. We love the idea of supporting a local business, especially if it can help us get in shape for swimsuit season—now to find an invention that actually does the running for us. (Huffington Post)

This Diaper Bag Does Not Look Like A Diaper Bag
When Chicago-based designer Janet Lee launched her line of diaper bags, Mia Bossi, in 2005, she also
created perhaps the only reason to use the terms “diaper bag” and “chic” in a sentence together. Historically, diaper bags have been clunky, bright-pink, paisley-printed things that Moms carried out of
necessity, not free will. Lee’s bags, on the other hand – a favorite of celebs like Halle Berry and Britney
Spears – were created to be carried by women long after their kids achieved potty training. The haute diaper bags come in both classic and trend-conscious styles – think totes, cross-body messengers, and slouchy shoulder bags – and are made right here in Chicago out of luxury distressed leathers and high-quality fabrics. As for function, that’s there, too. Each bag includes a removable lining with pockets for diapers, wipes, and cell phones, as well as a washable, faux-fur changing pad. If you or a mommy-to-be you know are intrigued, check out the bags online, at MiaBossi.com.

Dry Your Eyes: One Local Lookbook Just Became Shoppable
Finally! Local jewelry genius Laura Lombardi has just set forth her spring '12 collection onto the internets. If you'll recall, we shared Lombardi's lookbook with you several weeks ago. Did we or did we not just determine how you'll be procrastinating for much of the day?

For The Couple Who Literally Has Everything, There's A Hand Snuggie
You know the problem: You and your sweetie are out for your romantic evening stroll, but the Chicago weather is so crisp that you have to wear gloves. Holding hands with your partner then becomes an awkward, impersonal, wool-swaddled mess. No more! Now there's this thing to the rescue! Technically called a "Smitten Snuggle", this device ensures you can connect with your beloved at any temperature. Perfect for couples who have been together so long that there's literally no Valentine's Day gift left in existence that hasn't already been given. What will they think of next? Valentines Day Heart Shaped Smitten Snuggle, $18, available at Etsy.
Finally! A Website For The Forgetful, Disorganized, And Unlucky
According to the CEO of Found in Town, Chicagoans leave an average of 120,000 cell phones in taxi cabs each year. Get it together, Chi! Found in Town is a just-launched website for the recovery of lost items (not just cellies!) in Chicago. This free service lets you register, sends you identifying labels for your stuff (with a unique-to-you pin number), and then connects you with your lost stuff after it has gone m.i.a..! We think this is a genius solution to the inevitabilities of taxi cab culture, and, with the help of a few good Samaritans, it might erase the woes of Chicago's most forgetful. Sign up (for free), then start protecting, like, everything you own.

Guess Which Fashion Designer Just Collaborated With Beats By Dre
Remember when we wished someone would come up with a cuter version of these? Yeah...we got our wish. Oscar de la Renta somehow teamed up with Dr. Dre, to create these Beats by Dre headphones that are also toasty little earmuffs. For a pretty penny, you can have cute ears and quality sound while looking like a dubstep DJ from the Arctic. Or, you know, save your $700 and just tuck your earbuds inside your beanie like the rest of us plebes.Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, $695, available at Oscar de la Renta.

We Wish Someone Would Make A Cuter Version Of This Brilliant Idea
Okay, we're admittedly a little mad that we didn't come up with this one ourselves. How often have you fought against your winter accessories just for the sake of listening to some tunes on the El? What else are you going to listen to? That incessant "doors closing," or perhaps the melodic tones of a whining child? But it's not like you can skip the hat, scarf, or headband that's protecting you from the gale-force winds of a Chi-Town winter. Some absolute genius solved the problem with these earmuff-headphones, and we're sporting some major jealousy. Our only issue? We don't think we'd wear them. The color scheme, the pink heart charm...meh. Love the idea, but we'll wait on a cuter version. Would you rock these in the name of music and hypothermia?

The Cutest Thing About These Sneakers Is What's Inside Them

Okay, typically we wouldn't spare five seconds to check out the insole of a shoe, of all things. So, Adidas and Chicago shoe innovator Leaders saw this as a golden opportunity. Peek into these sneakers and tell us that isn't the most badass shoe you've ever seen. We're never ones to turn down a little cleverly placed Chicago pride. Add to that some removable ankle fringe (yes, really), and we're kinda stoked on these kicks. Is it truly what's on the inside that counts, or are you not feeling these? (CY Magazine)

Those of you familiar with The Possessionista, a.k.a. Dana Weiss, know that she knows how to spot a smart purchase. To put her style-spotting prowess to good used, Dana has teamed up with OpenSky, a celeb-curated shopping site, to offer shoppers (us) something special.
