Tuxedo Jeans Are A Thing, And They're Coming To Chicago
Even if you weren't around in the '60s, chances are you've heard of the infamous Le Smoking jacket. But, you may be a little less familiar with the Le Smoking jean, Anglophile brand Hudson's newest creation. The skinny silhouette, inspired by YSL muse and former lady-about-town LouLou de la Falaise, features a tuxedo stripe in bold neon hues. The appropriately named LouLou collection comes in a limited quantity of three different washes, and will be sold in Chicago exclusively at denim haven CityBlue, starting today. We can't get enough of the Parisian-chic vibe — in fact we're already picturing ourselves munching on baguettes and fromage as we stroll along the Seine, er, Chicago River. Oui Oui.CityBlue, 1444 North Wells Street (between North Avenue and Schiller Street); 312-664-2222.

Spring Cleaning For Fashion Hoarders! Consign Your Clothes This Week
As city dwellers, we Chicagoans are constantly struggling with a lack of space. As awesome as living in the Windy City is, the closets usually leave something to be desired. We're always trying to re-organize and downsize, but it's much easier said than done. Fashion lovers like us have larger-than-life wardrobes, and cleaning out a closet is one daunting task. This Thursday, Gold Coast boutique Perchance is giving us some major motivation with their Spring Closet Cleanout Event. They're partnering with consignment pros Luxury Garage Sale, to offer 20% off your purchase in exchange for your unwanted designer pieces (think DVF, Tory Burch, and the like). When you're digging for consignment possibilities, remember the one year rule: If you haven't worn it in 360 days, it's time to toss it, regardless of how adorable it is. Trust us, your closet shelves will thank you. When: Thursday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Perchance, 11 East Walton Street (between State and Rush streets); 773-244-1300.

One Color Wonder: Would You Wear Andrea's All-Pink Outfit?
We know spring is all about prints, mixed prints, colorblocking, and generally having some fun with your wardrobe. What we didn't expect to see was a monochromatic outfit in any color, much less a color that's typically only seen in small doses. Andrea Kerbuski of Blonde Bedhead shows of some snaps of herself in an all-pink look. Do you think she pulls it off? This extra-early spring means we've got lots of time to experiment. What colors do you love enough to rock head-to-toe?

This Is The Hottest Fashion Show On Two Wheels
The Bike Winter Art and Fashion Show is coming up, and it combines two of Chicago's favorite things: fashion, and two-wheeled good times. The 15th annual event happens this Friday, March 9 at the Gala Gallery, and the benefit is sure to be filled with more cycling enthusiasm than the Tour de France. The night’s main event will be the much-anticipated fashion show sponsored by Rapid Transit Cycles, featuring creations from 35 different vendors. While you sip your beer (all proceeds go to West Town Bikes), sporty styles from local bike shops and vintage fashions from Lucitebox will cruise down the runway on stylish, female cyclists. It will be a (free) night of lusting after new wheels, viewing new styles and adopting a new way of thinking about fashion shows altogether. Gala Gallery, 1000 North Milwaukee Avenue (at Augusta Boulevard); no phone.

Chicago Students Show Style On The Runway (And Off!)
Last Friday evening, MODA, an fashion-focused student organization at the University of Chicago, threw a spring fashion show no Chi-town co-ed could miss. Models walked down a lavish
runway in Chicago’s breath taking Union Station showcasing
talented young upcoming designers together with local designers that we love.
Guests received swag bags that were filled with tons of goodies, and all of the proceeds from the show went
to the Dress for Success organization. We snapped photos on the runway and off, so click through for a glimpse of Chicago's student style.

Falke Has 8 Reasons To Stop Wearing Black Tights Right Now
It's the 9th inning of winter, and if you're not sick of your black tights, you probably don't live in Chicago. Every girl from Logan Square to Streeterville is practically begging for something new to layer under skirts, dresses, and ugh, everything. Until that glorious day where we can get away with one layer only, add some fun to your style routine by incoporating one (or more) of Falke's new tights for spring. Click through for eight new colors we can't wait to try on. They're so cute we bet even @AngiesRightLeg wouldn't mind donning a pair. They almost make us want to tell summer to take its time getting here. Almost.
