Blow Your Paycheck At These 2 Vintage Markets This Weekend

If you're looking to channel your inner Gatsby, you couldn't be in a better place than Chicago this weekend. With two incredible vintage garage sales taking place, you better reserve some time — and some cash.

First, there's the Great Parker Garage Sale (located at the Francis W. Parker School), which will feature an incredible mix of clothing, jewelry, barware, electronics and more. But the real treat is this market’s boutique section that will be filled with designer labels without those hefty designer price tags.
If you’re looking for all of the above with the addition of some artisanal fare, Vintage Garage Chicago is for you. The Uptown sale is featuring a new section for artisans to showcase their top-quality, locally produced goods. So, clear your schedules ladies and gents. These are not your grandmother's garage sales.
Great Parker Garage Sale, Francis W. Parker School, 2233 North Clark Street (between Webster and Belden Avenues); 773-353-3000.
May 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vintage Garage Chicago, 5051 North Broadway (between Argyle Street and Foster Avenue); 847-579-9079.
Sunday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
