Miriam Cecilia Carlson, Fashion Designer

There are few designers in Chicago that can say they studied under Jean Paul Gautiler’s milliner and Madame Gres’ seamstress while designing their first collection in Paris, and probably only who did all of this before 24. Miram Cecilia Carlson launched her line Miriamcecilia during her time in the Chicago Fashion Incubator. This talented young designer recently opened her first showroom and studio on on Diversey where she hosts a Diversey Designer Shopping Series every third Wednesday of the month. She has recently finished her fall '12 collection and plans to debut it soon.
