Rebecca Makes Her Debut At Our Gap Modern/Vintage Mashup Event

It's not every day a Refinery29 editor makes her public debut, and for our latest — your local Chicago editor, Rebecca Taras — we cooked up something extra special. In true R29 style, Rebecca hobnobbed with the local bloggerati, and helped all you fashionable Chicagoans mix classic accessories with brand-new, contemporary staples at our Modern/Vintage Mashup event at the Gap in Lincoln Park. Bopping along to the tunes of DJ Avi Sic, she got to know her new virtual neighbors over hummus spring rolls and cucumber-infused vodka cocktails, and even styled up three outfits, pairing Gap pieces with our vintage selections that some very lucky attendees took home! Not bad for a first act, Rebecca. What's next?

Oh, and don't be sad you weren't there. Gap's offering all you lovely Refinery29 fans who couldn't make it 30% off one regular-priced item in store through Aug 22.
