Most of Whitechapel's Pakistani grill houses are worth a visit, but I have a soft spot for the venerable Tayyabs, where you can eat heavenly lamb chops, Seekh kebabs, dry meat, tinda masala, and buttery, flaky naans for a pittance. Remember to stop by the off-license first, and — once you've passed the queue — you'll have yourself a perfect evening."
