Classic black skinnies. Easy gray straight-legs. Perfect crops. We all have our trusted jeans, the pairs we reach for when we're running late in the morning and can't even deal. And, as much as we enjoy high-end trends, most days we just stick with the basics. Hand us everyday staples like a classic knit sweater, a canvas jacket, and easygoing tops — you know, the items that make the whole "casual jeans" look effortless — and we're good to go.

When we want to get down to the basics of throw-on-and-go outfits, we look to Gap. The brand's trusted line of 1969 jeans offers up denim you could wear every single day. Ah, the glory of normal dressing! And, if you head to a Gap store from September 17 to September 18, you can receive $25 off any full-priced pair of men's or women's 1969 jeans. All you have to do is try them on. So, go on, get a pair on major discount, and click through for the lazy, yet completely put-together, weekend looks we covet. This is how we get our normal on.

    The Layered Fisherman

That ol' sweater-over-collared-shirt look — usually associated with private-school uniforms or nerd-chic rockers — is perfect for your weekend plans. A fisherman cable-knit adds great texture while keeping you cozy in cooler temperatures.

    The Refined Grunge

There's a reason why the '90s keep coming back — nothing says "throwback" like jeans worn with a flannel top and an army-green parka. It's the one tried-and-true look that will never go out of style.

    The Ol' Jean-Jacket Top-Off

To add a little oomph to your look without trying too hard, invest in a boyfriend-fit shirt in a fun, ditsy print. And, since you can never have too much denim on, topping off the entire look with a classic jean jacket is highly encouraged.

    The Classy Neo-French

Lazy weekend dressing isn't all about oversized this, baggy that. It's possible to still look polished by committing to a fitted, tucked-in look. Nothing exudes more class than adding that last important layer: the camel trench.

    The Easy-Breezy Tomboy

Ever get jealous because guys can get dressed so easily? Well then, it's time to shop like our male counterparts. Opt for more timeless pieces like this striped oxford, a style you know won't be gone next season. It's a look your dude friends will dig for themselves.
