We don't know about you guys, but setting aside a few precious minutes during the workday to explore an online shop can be more energizing than a third Americano. If you're a fellow shopping-break believer, you'll want to be in the loop for the launch of Carnelian Boutique, a new D.C-based online retail shop from local lady Corrine Marr.
Stocked with cute summer dresses and accessories — at ultra-reasonable prices — we're guessing that Carnelian will earn a spot on our bookmarks bar pretty quickly. In fact, we're already crushing on the pleated, polka-dot chiffon shorts ($36.50) and the so-sweet Pretty As a Peach dress ($39.50, shown here) for these final steamy days of August. Intrigued yet? Get an in-person look at the goods this weekend with a pop-up shop and launch party at Tabula Rasa on Capitol Hill, where you can shop, indulge in cupcakes and champagne, and not feel the least bit guilty about perusing closet treasures instead of finishing that big presentation.
