Watch, Cry: The New Carly Rae, Justin Biebs, & One Direction, But Better

Okay, so we don't watch X-Factor but if we did, we'd be going ballistic over 13-year- old Carly Rose Sonenclar. And even if we didn't (which, again, we uh, mostly don't), we'd be tearing up at this insane and inspirational video. Carly Rose, a Westchester native, may be young, but, as L.A. Reid puts it: "Her soul is old." Prime evidence? Her incredibly heartfelt rendition of Nina Simone's Feeling Good — a song that's as difficult to sing well as it is to sing with feeling. Naturally, Carly nails it. Britney Spears looks like she's going to cry from the moment every contestant gets on stage, but this time we definitely had a case of the weeps, too.
