DIY These Cap-Toe Shoes: 4 Easy Steps, 2 Amazing Styles
By Natalie Goel

Step 2: Set the shoes on newspaper or an old towel. Stuff them with newsprint to protect the insides. Start spraying thin layers of paint from a safe distance from the shoe in order to avoid drips and streaks. Concentrate on coating the cap toe and sides of the sole, and don’t worry if
paint gets on the bottom of the shoes. You'll be painting those in the next step, anyway!
Step 3: Allow paint to dry for 24 hours. Then spray the bottoms of the shoes and set them down to dry,
soles facing up.
