It’s Here! Your Monthly Love Horoscope Awaits

comments
Va-va-voom! May is off to a sultry start thanks to a full moon in Scorpio on the 3rd. As the sun tours traditional Taurus toward the end of the month, you’ll get the urge to settle down. (Do we hear bells?) But, don’t start doodling names in hearts and Googling wedding china just yet. Passionate Mars will swoop into flirty Gemini on May 11. (Watch out: Your eyes may wander during this six-week phase.) This month could also bring second thoughts about a romance — or a second chance with the one who got away. Don’t be too quick to categorize people in the second half of the month. You may just find that friends can become lovers and deeper connections are revealed. Buckle up your seat belts — May is coming in hot.

Cancer Love Forecast

Billboard models step to the left. Your tastes run eclectic this May as you swoon for the tatted-up skaterboy, adorkable IT geek, or underground-hip-hop wizard. Your heart wants what it wants — and with ardent Venus flowing through Cancer from the 7th on, there won’t be any scrambled signals about what turns you on. You’ll be quite magnetic this month, so don’t rush to give away your final rose. Let yourself play the field and shop around. Give the digital dating scene a fair shake, too. Your profile could be favorited by many with the sun in your techie 11th house until the 21st. Keep in mind: Distinguishing fantasy from reality is not your forte this month. As Mercury embarks on a three-week retrograde on the 18th, you may also be attracted to the wounded birds and Peter Pans.

In a relationship? Get ready for a moment of truth. The full moon on the 3rd will bring buried feelings to the surface. Rather than sweeping dissatisfaction under the rug, talk about it constructively. In other words, be proactive and come from a solution-seeking perspective, rather than just hurling complaints. After all, Cancer, you can be hard to read sometimes, and your crush isn’t clairvoyant. Tap the 12th house of energy — which you’ll feel from May 11 on — and revive the good old days. A nostalgic trip down memory lane could do you wonders as a pair.

Your Beauty Forecast: Electric Pink
To get the look, apply a pink shadow all over the lid from lashline to brow. Then, blend in a wine shadow through the crease and along the lower lashline. Apply a sparkly black shadow just to the outer corner of the eye, through the crease, and along the lower lashline. Rim the eye with a black kajal pencil and finish the eyes with mascara. Do a soft contour with bronzer on your cheekbones, up towards your temples. Lastly, layer on a metallic pink lip gloss.
