Brooklyn Design Duo Box & Flea Gets You the "Worn In" Look Without the Wearing
We all have that favorite item of clothing that's worn in to perfection. As a matter of fact, I've even considered running over my favorite pair of shoes with a car, just to get it perfectly right. But luckily, architect/designer Jeremy Barbour and screenprinter/artist Andrew Woodrum, of the new design collaborative Box & Flea, are making sure that I don't have to. The small, hand-crafted accessory line includes a tote bag, tool tote, and bandana, all made to look as if they'd been carried lovingly for ages. Everything is produced locally in Greenpoint, and done in small batches, so you'll never be left wondering just where your goods came from. A new series will be produced twice a year, so we might just put in a request now for some well-worn boots, and park that car back in the garage.
