If you live in New York, you don't come to the Wythe to sleep. You come to this textile factory turned hotel for 1. Reynards, the sceney restaurant on the ground floor and 2. The sixth-floor bar, the Ides. The clientele at the former look like they just stepped out of a Steven Alan catalog — just for a taste of chef Sean Rembold's locavore grub. The latter has a terrace with prime views of Manhattan and prime-r views of dudes who really know how to wear their A.P.C. jeans. In the end, you might just want to book a room and spend the weekend, no matter where you're from.

Enter: The ultimate Brooklyn cool-girl outfit. Of course, Steven Alan has to make an appearance in the form of a casual but body-con v-neck dress. Then come the kooky-but-chic sunglasses. And, that summertime necessity, the espadrille wedge. Go on, girl.

Steven Alan Kirby Dress in Dark Rusk Multi, $248, available at Steven Alan; Etten Eller Double Brass Pearl Bracelet, $185, available at Lost and Found Shop; Karen Walker Harvest Sunglasses, $250, available at Les Nouvelles; Castaner Buti Suede Espadrille, $250, available at Calypso St. Barth.

Wythe Hotel, 80 Wythe Avenue, (between North 10th and North 11th streets); 718-460-8000.
