Brook&Lyn Gets The West Coast Treatment With Stop It Right Now

Never ones to fear a little change (it's a good thing, right?), we're definitely relating to the vibe of the latest photos from Brook&Lyn. New York designer Mimi Jung, who just made her switch to the West Coast, embraces her new home and plays with two sides of the spectrum — not just in geography — as she presents her newest collection.
The Big Apple transplant has created a simplistic collection of hard-edge jewelry called Medaled, and tapped into the talents of one of her coolest neighbors. Stop It Right Now — as in the site, and not just our reaction to the rad gold-plated brass and leather necklaces — creator Jayne Min was called in to style the collection, which Jung then photographed.
Mastering another mix of stark contrasts, the necklaces and bracelets were worn by a fair, platinum blonde with a penchant for hiding among the dark shadows. The gray concrete backdrop plays well with the boxy silhouettes of Min's stylings and a few streams of light that perfectly highlight Brook&Lyn's minimal, yet quite beautiful, pieces. Peep the latest designer-meets-blogger, industrial-meets-beauty shots, ahead.
