Bring-it-to-the-People-Uncropped
Pop in this weekend to this so-cool event sponsored by the organization Bring it to the People. The shop will feature collections by 17 incredible, independent fashion labels. Plus, all of these innovative lines, which range from jewelry to clothes to swimwear, are fair-trade and eco-friendly.
These award-winning, socially-aware brands by designers include Project Runaway alum (and winner!) Gretchen Jones. There will also be a cocktail hour on Saturday, where you can shop, listen to DJ-spun tunes, and meet these very creative designers. So, if you have some time to spare this weekend, go on an eco-venture downtown to check out Bring It to the People's exclusively curated boutique for access to clothes that will make you feel both beautiful and conscientious.
When: Saturday, June 23, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sunday, June 24, from noon to 5 p.m.
Where: 52 Mercer Street, 4th Floor (between Broome and Grand streets); no phone.
