Borrowed From the Boys: Men’s Shoes Made Just For Ladies

Boys will be boys. But from time to time, girls might also want to be one of the guys. One of our favorite street-style photographers, Garance Dor&eacute, pointed out recently the influx of menswear on ladies—in everything, that is, except for shoes. But we get the dilemma: Belt your boyfriend's cardigan or slouchy jeans all you want, yet tottering around in shoes a few sizes too big isn't really an option. So if you're going to tread, we suggest you do it in your own pair of shoes. Fortunately, British Vogue cued us in to the revolution afoot: Guys' shoes especially made just for girls. From brogues to oxfords by style stalwarts and up-and-comers like Generic Man, here's how to embark (walk or run) on a gender bender.
