Shawl collars, cardigans, and hoodies, oh my. We think guys can never have enough of the season's number one staple: sweaters, obviously. And while we'd never forget about classic numbers (yo, Ralph Lauren cashmere cables), sometimes dudes want to stand out when the temps hit freezing. Well, here's a nice surprise: New, NYC-based sweater and accessories line Bolivares has rolled out a collection of not-shy numbers that beat the chill — boldly!

While there are more muted numbers — varsity button-ups with preppy-racing stripes, knitted hoodies, and dark-colored crew necks — it's the brighter styles that are giving us a total upper. Dutch blue and saturated-red cardigans, especially, are an instant dose of sunshine even when Mother Nature's sending a wicked wintry mix our way. Bolivares' official tag line is "Salud, Dinero Y Amor," which roughly translates to "Health, Wealth, and Happiness." A tall order, sure, but it certainly has a nice ring to it. Actually, it sounds suspiciously close to our New Year's resolution.
