The Highest Ranked Sweaterdress For Those Who Hate Pants

If you shiver at the thought of shimmying into a pair of jeans and would rather risk frostbite than wear trousers with long johns, it’s safe to assume that winter is not your favorite season. In fact, for those who just plain hate pants, you might consider this the worst time of year — the one where you’re constantly deciding between warmth, comfort, and style preference. It was with you dress-lovers in mind that we asked Rank & Style to snoop around and pinpoint the best winter sweaterdress that money can buy.
Admittedly, the winning selection is not exactly blizzard-ready. Still, it’s a promising start. Earning high marks for overall buzz and for being a bestseller, Free People’s Kris Cross style came out on top. The wool-blend frock features a seasonal, black-and-white print and an oversized neckline that's perfect for slouching over one shoulder — truly capturing that Free People spirit, of course.  However, this particular frock has its downfalls. Namely, the hem is pretty short; you should probably pile on the best tights you can find, don a long coat, and step into high boots. We won't judge if you even wear a skirt underneath. Alas, such is the plight of the pants-averse in the wintertime.
