Why: A behemoth of a contender, the Reebok Sports Club is a great fit for the whole family, or one over-zealous individual. With two regulation-size basketball courts, a boxing studio, soccer, volleyball, swimming, rock climbing, outdoor track, leagues, lessons and clinic, even the most fervent sports enthusiast can get his/her athlete on with the greatest of ease. On the flip side, the gym also hosts a dedicated Mind Body program for yoga, Pilates and Gyrotonic fanatics. The kids are even covered with Kids Only childcare and activity programs. No doubt about it, this is a place that has something for everyone.
The Deal: The Reebok Sports Club/NY (and it's sister club, The Sports Club/LA Upper East Side) are offering its Gold Membership (minimum 12 months) for a $75 initiation fee with complimentary dues for both January and February. After January 20, that initiation fee goes up to $100, but January and February dues are still gratis.
