Assembly — Innovative styling was the number one takeaway from Assembly's fall '13 presentation during New York Fashion Week. The collection, which was based on the intersection between work and play, included plenty of the sporty, luxurious separates that we've come to expect from CFDA finalist, Greg Armas. What really blew us away was how fluidly the designer layered his playful-yet-tailored pieces to create looks that are definitely appropriate for a whole host of occasions, in a very downtown-girl-meets-Thom-Browne sense. The presentation was truly a treat and demonstrated the expert showmanship that we love to see during New York Fashion Week.
