What would you consider your big "break"?
"I'm not sure I believe in big breaks. I believe in being open to the universe and working really hard. I've had many moments and important people in my career that I am grateful for, but strongly believe that passion and willingness are key to long-term success. There's a time any entrepreneur faces when the willingness to give it your everything outweighs the fear of taking the risk. That moment was pretty magical for me."

What's the best advice you've got along the way?
"Be yourself. This may not necessarily have been business advice, but for me it's something I see more clearly now than ever. I've been lucky enough to find clients who 'get' me and respect how I operate. There was a specific moment when I figured out that I didn't have to fit into any particular box, I just had to be able to get behind my clients 100% and vice versa. When you can be your true self, a certain freedom and creativity enters a business relationship, one that can often be stifled by fear or trying to be someone you're simply not."

Any really bad advice you've been given?
"Don't turn away business. I understand why people say it, but for me it is not about how many clients I have. It's about the quality of what we create together. I stand behind my work and I'd rather do a really great job for a few clients than a decent job for many."
