The Interior Designer: Lauren Geremia of Geremia Design
What exactly do you do all day?
“I wake up, feed my pup and my birds, water my plants, have a short meeting with my staff providing direction and setting expectations for the day. I go to a bunch of meetings discussing art installations or furniture ideas, eat lunch, go to more meetings, then I come home and edit the work of my staff, sign checks, and review reports. I also meet with my business manager to discuss cash flow and employee hours. I try to exercise, have a cocktail, and maybe bake banana bread for my employees the next day. I design at night. That's when I have the most ideas and no one is around."
What's the best advice you've got along the way?
"Do what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it."
How many hours do you put into your job daily?
"Depends on the day, but I would say 12."
