Like true love, a casual outdoor space to laze away the day is incredibly hard to find (shocking for L.A.!). Our WeHo go-to, The Belmont Cafe, boasts a great patio atmosphere for long gab sessions. We recommend the heavenly mac and cheese (loaded with blue crab, applewood smoked bacon, scallions, tomatoes, smoked mozzarella, smoked gouda, and swiss cheese — yum) and engaging in a little hair-of-the-dog action at its ultimate Bloody Mary bar, open every Sunday. Across town at The Bungalow, located on the Fairmont Miramar Hotel property, you'll find the same chill vibe, but with much more posh accommodations. The Bungalow may technically be located on the Westside, but its allure and charm is that of the East — Nantucket to be exact. For either nights or daytime group hanging, this backyard hideaway by nightlife guru Brent Bolthouse is the ideal way to kick it like you haven't a care in the world. Cozy up with a "Bungalow Margarita," or "Bitchin’ Sangria," shoot some pool, play some ping-pong, and take in the Pacific breeze.
