Triple White Sage by Craftsman Brewing Co. at The Abbot's Cellar
Newly opened, The Abbot’s Cellar doesn’t skimp when it comes to the pours. Evidence? Its Triple White Sage beer — it’s a Trappist-style beer (which means it is made by monks) and is triple the strength, hence the name. Wowza! Plus, it has a refreshing sage-apricot taste (the sage aroma is stronger than the taste), light caramel notes, and guys and gals can imbibe in this bad, liquid-y boy. Seriously, if there’s one mug that will tickle everyone’s taste buds, this is it.
The Abbot's Cellar, 742 Valencia (between 18th and 19th streets); 415-626-8700.
