Beauty Product: “The BeachWaver has changed my life, and I'm constantly telling people at the gym, on the street, and at appointments that they have to go out and buy it. It's worth every penny. The mechanized spin keeps my arms from cramping like they do when I try to use other curlers, and something about it just makes perfect, natural-looking curls. The day mine breaks, I'm running out to get another.”
Sarah Potempa Beachwaver Curling Iron, $189, available at QVC.

New York Spa: “I wasn't a facial girl until stepping into Amore Pacific's Soho outpost. It's small and zen, and entirely un-intimidating. I'd never really thought my skin looked any different after treatments until I tried its Time Response Skin Renewal Facial — I emerge relaxed, glowy, and fresh-faced.”
Amore Pacific Spa, 114 Spring Street (between Mercer and Greene streets); 212-966-0400.

Beauty Tip: “I'm a firm believer that dirty hair is better hair. Having thicker hair certainly helps my plight, but I'm convinced most women could go longer between washes than they think they can (or are comfortable with). The extra body and lived-in look is what the majority of girls I know are striving for. My arsenal includes dry shampoo and even tying my hair back except for the few strands near the front that show oil first, and washing them on their own.”
