Step 1: Every good makeup look starts with a great foundation. For me, it’s important that my makeup lasts all night, so I started with Revlon’s ColorStay Makeup, which stays put, but doesn't feel heavy. Take a makeup sponge and lightly dab the foundation where you need it, then blend.
Step 2: I wanted to create a smoky dark eye, so I'm using a ready-to-go palette, Revlon’s PhotoReady Primer + Eyeshadow in Renaissance. Apply the slate gray shadow with a flat brush, patting the color onto the lid from your lashline to your crease.
Step 3: Then apply the purple shadow into your crease from the outside of your eye towards the inside of your eye, tapering the color as you go. Really concentrate the color in your outside crease for that smoky feel. Take a blending brush and mix the two colors together.
Step 4: Apply a shimmery beige shadow with a fluffy brush directly under the arch of your eyebrows.
Step 5: Curl your lashes and apply two coats of mascara. I love Dior Diorshow Waterproof Mascara in Black. The secret to having clump-free lashes is to wait for each coat to dry before reapplying.
Step 6: Apply peachy blush to the apples of your cheeks. I use NARS Blush in Torrid.
Step 7: You know I am not leaving the house without lipstick, and for this look I wanted something sultry for the evening. I chose Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Sultry Sable.
