During the Fall 2013 shows, we spotted voluminous curls at Bottega Veneta, soft, low ponytails at Ralph Lauren, and comb-overs at Tracy Reese. But, the hair trend that seems most fitting for sweltering August is the wet look. Yes, the straight-out-of-the-shower or you-just-ran-a-marathon-in-the-desert look is an actual thing.
Designers such as Prada, Robert Cavalli, and Alberta Ferretti pranced models down the runway with what appeared to be soggy wet hair, whether it was parted down the middle, on the side, or twisted. Of course, the models didn’t sit in a sauna or take a dip in a pool before hitting the catwalk. Hairstylists used fancy gels and product to create the ultra shiny effect. And while the "wet hair" look isn’t for everyone, this might be the easiest runway trend to copy yet. Here are eight products to help you look, dare we say, damp.
