What's your company philosophy?
"Our philosophy is always to inspire confidence in our clients and to celebrate their individuality, says Byrne. "We feel that through makeup, we have the incredible opportunity to help women feel even better about themselves and to help them embrace who they are."
What's the most challenging aspect of running your own business?
"One of the most challenging things about starting a new business is that there is no model, and no way of knowing the right or wrong things to do, explains Byrne. "There is also no safety net! We simply have to have complete faith and trust in each other, and luckily, we have such an incredible relationship."
What's the one product we have to try right now?
"Currently, Natalie and Goldie are our best-selling lipsticks! Natalie (named for Natalie Wood) is a cool, tulip pink, while Goldie (named for Goldie Hawn) is a sheer coral, says Bryne. "They’re our hottest colors for spring at the moment."
Anything new on the horizon?
"Yes! We are currently in the creative process and we have new and fun things coming your way soon..."
In your own words, describe the Chicago woman beauty consumer.
"The best way for us to describe our client and the Chicago woman is that she is hardworking, kind, sincere, willing to help others, and sophisticated (among many other things!), explains Bryne. "We have found that Chicago women are not afraid to take bold risks when it comes to their color choices — and we totally love that!"
