3 Daring New Ways To Dress Up Your 'Do

Flower Girl

There's just something so romantic and ethereal about wearing flowers in your hair. For this look, Brown went a bit crazy with the blooms to create a multi-colored wreath woven into a milkmaid braid. "Everyone loves flowers," he says. "They're fresh, smell good, and bring a kind of sentiment."

To get this look, Brown applied Wella Professionals Flowing Form Smoothing Balm to hair, then braided it to create a headband. After securing the braids with bobby pins, he started tucking in the flowers, attaching them with pins to keep the blossoms in place. "Don't drive yourself crazy," he advises. "It's really a lot simpler than it looks."

You can use fresh or fake flowers, depending on what you prefer. Fresh flowers have the added bonus of built-in fragrance, but fake flowers are re-usable. For a toned down version of this look, Brown says to keep it simple with a single braid and one small flower.
