Who are your professional role models?
"Nicole Plue. I worked under her at Redd in Yountville and she really proved to me that desserts can look like works of art and taste delicious … you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other. And my grandmothers: Both of them were constantly pulling something out of the oven. I definitely learned that sweets can soothe the soul from both of them."

Where can we find you when you’re not at work?
"Working with my husband at his glass studio or reading a book on the couch with my dog, Pax."
