"For the last two years, I’ve been making unique takes on classic pies. Our brick-and-mortar pie shop opened several weeks ago in the Jack London Square district of Oakland."

What do you love about your job?
"I love creating new pies, like the breakfast and savory pies coming out this winter. I love my customers. I love that I interact with other people who are passionate about food. Beyond that, I love that Pietisserie is a vehicle to express my values around slow living."
