A new kind of grunge was the theme backstage at Richard Chai LOVE yesterday. The hair and makeup was decidedly 1992, with every girl's red lips paying homage to a another kind of Love—Courtney. Makeup artist Gucci Westman freshened up the mood by brushing liquid foundation on the girls for a clean, dewy look, then topped it off with just a little cream brush to let the lips take center-stage (take note!). Frank Rizzieri and Kevin Ryan topped it off with a sexy-messy bedhead, filling out hair with tousled piles of clip-in extensions and smoothing it down on top for a slept-in look. Ricky Kenig of Ricky's NYC—yes, there really is a Ricky!—was on-hand at Richard Chai LOVE to provide some of his proprietary hairstyling accessories, which included a no-crease hairclip and an olive-oil infused comb. And we don't need to tell you where you can get those.
