About Author

This summer, the one thing I absolutely, positively cannot live without is...
Believe it or not, I cannot live without Old Navy’s shelf-bra camis in white and black during the summer. They’re perfect for those sweltering hot days when the thought of putting on a bra is just sticky and awful but going truly bra-less isn’t an option (busty-girl issues). And they’re super cheap! Stock up, trust me.

Next up on my Netflix is...
The last few episodes of the Netflix series, Orange Is The New Black. I’m hopelessly obsessed.

Latest guilty pleasure...
I work at a magazine test kitchen, so Christmas cookies are my guilty pleasure at the moment (we work about 6 months out). I try to only have 1 per day with coffee but those sugary vixens quickly turn into my breakfast, lunch and 3 o'clock snack. Whoops! It's my job, right?

The one song I can listen to over and over is...
Pickin’ Up The Pieces by Fitz And The Tantrums. Given the chance and vocal skills, I would walk around Karaoke-ing to that song 24/7. Also, Lose Yourself To Dance by Daft Punk. Try listening to that song without wiggling. You can’t! It’s impossible.

The latest trick I've picked up from the other R29 editors is...
I’ve always applied blush the way I learned to in middle school...just smile and tap that CoverGirl Classic Pink on the apples of your cheeks! But then Jeannine Morris explained in her “How-To Contour An Oval Face” post that skipping the apples and blending the blush on your cheekbones instead gives oval-faced girls like me a leaner, glowier look. Turns out it makes a huge difference!

My must-have cheap thrill is...
Green mums from our grocery store in Brooklyn. They’re usually the cheapest flowers there but they look so chic and modern bundled in small vases around the apartment. I replace them about once every other week. Such an easy pick-me-up, love ‘em!

3 Insanely Yummy Breakfast DIYs

We’re all for starting the day on the right foot, but it takes some serious planning to squeeze in a healthy breakfast before work. And, to be perfectly
